"We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet" (March 26, 2018)

Dear Friends and Family,

This week has been great and we have seen a lot of miracles!!

Last week we were STRUGGLING to find any new people, but the Lord recognized our hard efforts, and on Tuesday we found 3 new people, then Wednesday 5 new people, so last week really was the trial of our faith.

We went on exchanges this week with the Rochester 5 sisters. One of the sisters is from Taiwan, so they teach a lot of Chinese speakers, and I learned that Chinese people think my laugh is super hysterical.

We had a cool Easter devotional last night, there were a lot of cool musical numbers, and we did ours again. We had been inviting people all week, and none of our solid investigators committed to coming. Then right as the program was starting I look over to see this woman we barely started teaching standing at the door looking for us. We had invited her the day before and she said she would think about it, but it was a really cool miracle that she came!
There was also the Relief Society birthday party this week for our ward. The sisters did a great job putting it on, and we had an investigator come to that as well. Our ward is really pushing trying to get past judgement and discrimination and focus on having Christlike love for all the sisters.

I am so excited for this upcoming conference weekend. I can't believe my third conference in the mission field is already here, the time seems to fly faster every moment. We will have an incredible opportunity this weekend to sustain our new prophet, and to hear from the living prophet and his apostles, as they give us guidance for these latter-days. This week we have been sharing the story of King Benjamin, starting Mosiah 2, about how everyone gathered together to hear the prophet speak, listened intently, and then acted upon his words. I hope all of you can take some time this weekend, individually or as families, to listen or watch at least one session of general conference. I know if you prayerfully prepare, then your questions will be answered. We are truly so blessed to have a living prophet. God still speaks! What a wonderful message we get to take to the world.

I love you all!

Have a great week.

Hermana Meredith

We had a super fun p-day last week, and went on a hike to Quarry Hill. (Yeah, in Minnesota you can only hike hills because there are no mountains, haha)
